I have purchased many resources as a student and now as a practitioner. This and the OT toolkit are by far the best resources I have found. The information is informative with practical intervention application. If you are a student this is a must have as you study various conditions and treatment. As a practitioner this includes amazing handouts in both English and Spanish, which are actually helpful and display written and picture directions. I highly recommend this for universities, students, practitioners, clinical fieldwork educators, and anyone caring for someone who wants to regain independence.

This is a comprehensive set of exercises which should meet the home exercise program needs of about any patient. Having the exercises in English and Spanish is an exceptional benefit. The price is very competitive in the world of home exercise program handouts and the treatment guides are very current. I would highly recommend this as a part of the "Tool Kit" of any PT professional actively involved in the care of patients. We have it available for all the clinicians in our large health care system.

The PT Tookit is very thorough and detailed including impairments, assessments, interventions and patient/caregiver handouts. The handouts are easy to follow and include excellent illustrations for each activity or exercise. Definitely a useful addition to all types of settings for the adult/geriatric population. I highly recommend it.

Dr Colbert covers so much material that I can say that's what I love and that's what I do not like about this book. He answers many more questions than I knew I had. He addresses inflammation from the weight loss point of view. I purchased the book because I realize I have debilitating inflammation. Well, to reverse this condition, I will have to purchase a number of supplements. None of them are recommended in the compound form. I will be spending a lot of money to get myself out of this. But, I will have a great detailed guide. Thank you Dr Colbert.

Qualitative Research Help

I chose a qualitative method for a research proposal and wanted to examine the data in a detailed, personal way. I purchased many books about various qualitative methods, but all of them failed to assist me. I finally came upon this book, and the author clearly outlined what is involved with this form of research--heuristic inquiry. It totally changed how I looked at the the transcripts of my participants, and assisted me in extracting rich themes and descriptions. I highly recommend this book to those who are serious about qualitative research, e.g., heuristic research, and are willing to do all that is required to complete a thesis or dissertation that they can be proud of for years to come.

this is a great book to have

This book is a notable, inexpensive companion to your typical polyglot dictionary (The 26 Language Dictionary) or phrasebook( e.g. Lonely Planet) because it includes odd words which you would not find in them, notably insect names. It also, being humor, brings up ideas that you can barely even find in print, yet are part of very real and extensive everyday realities.

If you're a fan of these languages or anthropology, this is a great book to have.

It's dangerous to read, though, because its contents are very insulting. The way most people act, people should be reading books of polite and complementary sayings rather than insults.

I liked learning more about the way ice affects people's moods, behaviour and so on. I did find the book a somewhat lengthy document that could probably have covered the subject adequately in less pages. Lots of typos need fixing as well.
