Good Concepts book.

It is a good introduction to computer basics, I found alot of the information here discussed in advanced courses and also just plain interesting. Although I did have a few problems with the layout, specifically the Excel chapter and certain key words. But I also really liked the spiral bound format that made reading a breeze.

I am a Ph.D. student at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in SUNY. I bought this book almost 2 months ago, and after buying from Amazon I used the book very often.

I am studying on Characterization of Dielectric Materials by a Microwave Non-Destructive method. The book is generally written good, but I do recommend this book to people studying and working on the special area of Characterization of Materials by Microwaves.

You can find in the literature lots of studies of the authors V. V. Varadan and V. K. Varadan, on characterization of materials by free-space non-destructive method. Their research group is one of the big scientic groups on Microwave NDT&E (Non-Destructive Testing and Evaluation).

Scholars of liberalism, in particular, will benefit from its challenge to the notion that liberalism has somehow solved the political problem of punishment. It helps us reckon, unflinchingly, with a world in which we suffer and wound, punish and plead, rage and--at our best, and as Aladjem shows us--reason.

Justice, not Vengeance - this riveting book makes the thoughtful case that substituting vengeance for justice is a problem for democracy as such. Especially in the US, society exercizes vengeance instead of justice. From TV cop shows, malpractice lawsuits, issues of race and the death penalty, author Terry Aladjem argues we are substituting the cheap nickel of vengeance for the dollar of moral justice - and we all pay the price of that meanness. Tracing his argument in civil and legal discourse, and in literature, from the Greeks through South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Aladjem's argument is bold and convincing. Indeed, it evoked in me that fore-heading smiting, "why didn't I see that?!" reaction of things that are patently true.
A must-read for anyone interested in where our legal, civil, and social systems are heading.

Is this a book that I can read without having to read others first? Yes.

Are there a lot of typos/misspellings, grammatical errors or other editing failures? I did not notice any.

Is this a fast, easy read or is it more of a leisure read? Yes, this can be read in less time than it takes to boot your Windows-driven PC.

What sort of language does this writer use to amplify the points made? Clean, plain English.

My biggest disappointment? It is a bit too brief for the selling price and does not have any photographs.

On the other hand, it has a good deal more information than I though possible in just 12 pages. Also, since I checked this out using my Kindle Unlimited subscription, I am not too disappointed.

Although the writing and editing are acceptable, the shortcomings of this booklet necessitate that I rate it at three stars, in part due also to the relatively steep selling price. At 99 cents, though, I would rate it at four stars. And, if even just a few photos are included, plus a couple pages added to describe the time durations for breeding and raising this nutritious source of protein-rich feed, I would rate it at least four stars and, possibly, five.

By all means, though, if you have Kindle Unlimited, and do have even just a passing interest in cricket raising, this is a good start.

Needs a good editing

It's decent and I can't say it's not helpful, but it certainly needs editing to fix several misspellings, bad grammar, and inconsistencies in the information provided. I do wish I had my money back. I am certainly left without a solid understanding of how to proceed breeding crickets, but it did give me a start.

Better communication in your relationships...(the why)

I have taken a few personality assessments. This is only the second one that has caught my attention. The assessment was simple but effective. I was surprised by the descriptive traits. It nailed me to a tee. If you want to understand your relationships better I recommend. It's all about how we as individuals process incoming data. Also, the "labels" are easy to remember. ...very good study!!

Good Reference for people who study Pilates

I refer to this book for reinforcement. It's a great resource. Now and then, especially in group classes, it's hard for the instructor to keep an eye on all of us and I like to go back to this book to remind myself how to do things correctly.

Just got into pilates, a little late, but this is a great book for showing all the positions. Sometimes videos move too quickly and when I'm trying to hold my hands and body in a certain position it's actually easier to put the book on a stand and study it while moving into the various poses. Really good for a beginner in my opinion.
